A young woman who survived a disastrous biological experiement on her planet. The experiment was intended to create a virus that would extend human life, but resulted in the deaths of all the adults on her world. Only the children survived, their lives greatly extended, until they reached puberty. Miri had reached puberty at the time the U.S.S. Enterprise contacted her planet in 2266, but was saved when Dr. Leonard McCoy was able to develop an antitoxin for the virus. ("Miri")
